Karl Cooper established the firm in 2006 with the intention of helping individuals who find themselves in need of someone they can trust through difficult times. His practice currently focuses primarily on debtor’s rights and bankruptcy. Additionally, he handles workers’ compensation claims and practices in the area of family law. Prior to starting his own firm, Karl worked with a general practice firm, getting experience in a broad range of areas, but he has always predominantly practiced in the areas of bankruptcy, workers compensation and family law. Karl is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and in both the Eastern and Middle Federal Districts of Pennsylvania. Karl has litigated matters in Federal Bankruptcy Court and in state court, before the courts of Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, Berks, Lehigh, Philadelphia, Northampton and Monroe Counties. Karl has also handled claims before workers compensation judges throughout eastern and central Pennsylvania. He is published in Pennsylvania Family Lawyer and has been a lecturer at legal seminars. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and is an active participant in its Workers’ Compensation and Family Law Sections. Karl is also involved in his community and church having served on municipal, church and other nonprofit boards. Karl received his law degree in 1997 from Villanova University School of Law and a B.A. from Cedarville College in 1994. He is also a lifelong resident of the area living in both Bucks and Montgomery Counties.
